Mousseux wine
Only the following wines can be called vin mousseux:
- Vin mousseux (France)
- Vino Spumente (Italy)
- Vino espumoso (Spain)
- Vinho espumente or espumoso (Portugal)
- Schaumwein and Sekt (Germany)
- Sparkling wine (England)...
A wine which withstands in closed container at a temperature of 20° Celsius a carbonic gas pressure of above 3 bar. This over-pressure must come exclusively from the alcoholic fermentation of the wine in vat from which the wine in question is prepared - with the addition of the drawing-off liquor.
