The plant tie (1) consists of a strip of rubber or material with similar properties, made with a series of e.g. lozenge-shaped holes along its length, any of which can receive and retain a pointed end (3) in the shape of an arrowhead after the strip has been passed round a flexible stem and a rigid support. The tie can measure, for example, 7 cm wide by 80 - 120 cm long.USE: Supporting young pliable stems of grape vines and other plants.ADVANTAGE: The tie provides a good support and is easy to fit without damage to the plant or injury to the user.
